Description

Ghana has made enormous efforts in recent years to standardise and improve its vocational education and training system. The support of German and international stakeholders has played a decisive role in this. However, the vocational education and training system, which has been very school-based to date, continues to face challenges: Vocational education and training is not sufficiently practice-orientated, does not yet provide enough training to meet the needs of companies and is underfunded.
