Von sprachlicher Paarbildung bis zu Autorenpaaren neue Perspektiven auf Paarkonstellationen

Liebes- und Ehepaare, Koalitionäre, Zweikämpfer, Freunde, Kontrahenten oder auch Geschwister spielen in der Literatur von Anbeginn eine zentrale Rolle. Paarkonstellationen wie diese bilden aus zwei Einheiten eine dritte, in der sie weiterbestehen und gleichzeitig aufgehoben sind. In manchen Fällen ist im Laufe der Zeit die Individualität der beiden Paarbestandteile aus dem kulturellen Gedächtnis sogar ganz verschwunden. Ausgehend von den grundlegenden Beiträgen zu sprachlichen Paarbildungen und der Funktionalisierung des mythischen Dioskurenpaares analysieren die Beiträger dieses Bands Textpaare, Paarkonstellationen literarischer Figuren und Autorenkonstellationen vom Humanismus bis zur Gegenwart.
The commemorative publication for Helmut Göbel and Ludger Grenzmann on the occasion of their respective 75th birthdays comprises contributions on couple constellations, particularly in German language, literature and culture. Couple constellations are entities formedby two individuals in which these individuals continue to exist but are at the same time negated. Setting out from the elemental contributions on linguistic pair formations and the functionalisation of the mythical Dioskouri, this anthology brings together in particular analyses of exemplary literary couple constellations, of authorial relationships and cases of intertextuality in diverse literary fields of cultural history from humanism to the present day.
