In this nonfiction primer with atmospheric illustrations, we follow the little elephant and its herd through the dry and rainy seasons of the savanna, and we learn about the other animals and plants that share the environment. Anita van Saan studierte zunächst Grafik- und Textdesign an der Kunstakademie Stuttgart, anschließend absolvierte sie ein naturwissenschaftliches Studium an der LMU München. Heute arbeitet sie hauptberuflich als Biologin, nebenberuflich schreibt sie erfolgreich Kinder-, Sach- und Geschenkbücher. Theresa Schwietzer hat in Münster lllustrations- und Kommunikationsdesign studiert. Sie lebt als freiberufliche lllustratorin und Grafikerin in Duisburg.Hier illustriert sie für verschiedene Verlage Sach- und Kinderbücher, am liebsten Projekte mit den Schwerpunkten Natur und Tier.
