This is a poetic picture-art adventure by the exceptional artist Mehrdad Zaeri. Mehrdad Zaeri kam 1970 in Isfahan (Iran) auf die Welt. Im Alter von vierzehn Jahren floh er mit seiner Familie über die Türkei nach Deutschland.Seit 2006 ist er als Buchillustrator, Live-Performance-Zeichner und Geschichtenerzähler im deutschsprachigen Raum tätig. 2016 gründete er mit seiner Lebenspartnerin Christina Laube das "Duo Sourati", um Zeichnungen im XXL-Format an Fassaden von großen Häusern zu sprühen.Der Winter des Eichhörnchens ist sein erstes Buch für Gerstenberg.www.mehrdad-zaeri.de
