A world heritage site since 2009, the Wadden Sea offers a landscape of irresistible beauty. At its core, the Schleswig- Holstein Wadden Sea National Park encompasses an area of 4,410 km, and is the largest of its kind in Germany. Through a series of aerial photographs, Jurgen Wettke captured this natural area with its incomparable wealth of shapes and colours.
