Full Description
In the 1990s, Japan experienced a period of far-reaching changes within its society, which have not yet ended. This volume looks at our accumulated knowledge of Japan from different perspectives. The contributions address issues from the fields of economy, education, and political and social science. The volume is a collection of papers from the 2002 meeting of the German Association of Social Scientific Research of Japan at Halle-Wittenberg University.
