This book explores a method to quantitatively simulate precision assembly tasks before they have been realized. Following a review of assembly equipment and assembly strategies, a Monte Carlo method is applied to enable these aspects to be brought together. To show that the method is acceptable, it is ultimately applied to a real world example.
