In this book, all movements are therefore notated in two parts in a comfortable register, so that no extreme highs or lows have to be mastered. Both parts can be sung by men and/or women. Due to the repertoire's wide variety of styles, the pieces are appropriate for both sacred and secular use (folk songs, hymns, popular music songs, canons, seasonal songs).This choir director's volume contains the two-part arrangements with simple piano accompaniments and chord symbols, each with a short prelude. For some pieces, an optional treble recorder part is available for download. In addition to general information on senior choir rehearsals, specific vocal exercises prepare for difficult passages of individual songs and include aspects of voice training.
