Full Description
As part of a Tübingen symposium, the meaning of "the" city from the theological point of view from biblical-exegetical, (church) historical, systematic-theological and last but not least from a practical-theological perspective was discussed. The partnership between the Tübingen Evangelical Theological Faculty and the Presbyterian University and Theological Seminary, Seoul, as well as the Seoul Theological University, are used in joint Korean-German work on the topic to highlight aspects that go beyond the European horizon. They make it clear which particular challenges are facing Christian congregations and churches in Korea understand how their work must largely take place within the framework of megacities, and how the task of congregation formation and congregational loyalty can and must be realized.
