The book features a selection of works spanning almost fifty years of work., which sees the city, the street, and everyday life transformed into spaces charged with visual and sonic signals.
Sérgio Mah (geb. 1970 in Beira, Mosambik) hat einen Doktortitel in Multimedia-Kunst und ist Dozent an der Fakultät für Sozial- und Humanwissenschaften der NOVA-Universität Lissabon. Seine Forschungs- und Schwerpunkte liegen im Bereich der zeitgenössischen Kunst, mit besonderem Fokus auf bildbasierten Praktiken und Theorien. Seit 2003 hat er als Kurator zahlreiche Einzel- und Gruppenausstellungen in nationalen und internationalen Institutionen organisiert. Seit 2023 ist er stellvertretender Direktor des MAAT - Museum für Kunst, Architektur und Technologie in Lissabon.
