Markus Mauthe (geb. 1969) ist gelernter Fotograf und hat durch seine Liebe zur Natur von Anfang an den Bereich der Landschaftsfotografie für sich entdeckt. In Form von Diaschauen, Buch- und Kalenderveröffentlichungen versucht er mit seiner Sichtweise, die Schönheit dieser Welt zu zeigen, um gleichzeitig auf die Notwendigkeit ihrer Erhaltung aufmerksam zu machen. Seit dem Jahr 2003 stellt er seine Fähigkeiten mit der Kamera schwerpunktmäßig in den Dienst und die Ziele der Umweltschutzorganisation Greenpeace.
