Description
Photographed by Romain Cavallin, this volume retraces the construction process of the conceptually and architecturally groundbreaking Brussels FRAME building, layer by layer. The FRAME building was conceived as a centre of communication and media at the core of the future Brussels MediaPark district. The publication retraces the project's construction chronologically, from 2022 to 2025, featuring a selection of photographs by Romain Cavallin and a series of construction drawings. Each chapter focuses on a specific constructive layer, highlighting the project's adaptable nature. Nikolaus Hirsch, artistic director of CIVA Brussels and co-founder of e-flux Architecture: "BAUKUNST and their project FRAME push the boundary of what you could define as architecture, up to a point where you dissolve architecture itself."Ed.: Baukunst in collaboration with Romain Cavallin.
