Zwischen 1933 und 1936 wurden die sogenannten "Thingstätten" als propagandistische Freilichtbühnen und Versammlungsplätze des Nationalsozialismus erbaut. 400 waren geplant, etwa 60 wurden errichtet. Viele dieser bis heute kaum bekannten Orte sind heute noch in Deutschland, Polen und Russland auffindbar. Between 1933 and 1936, so-called "Thingstätte" were erected as propagandistic open-air theaters and meeting places for National Socialism. Four hundred were planned, and around sixty constructed. Many of these today almost barely known sites, can still be found in Germany, Poland, and Russia.
