Friedrich von Borries, geboren 1974 in Berlin, ist Architekt. 2008 war er Generalkommissar des Deutschen Beitrags auf der Architekturbiennale in Venedig. Er lehrt als Professor für Designtheorie und kuratorische Praxis an der Hochschule für Bildende Künste in Hamburg.
