With coloured edges, ribbon page marker - a beautiful edition of the classic dark love story
The estate of Wuthering Heights sits on a hill in the rugged Yorkshire countryside. It lies defenceless against the wind, which blows harder here than anywhere else. Its owner, the kind-hearted Mr Earnshaw, takes in the foundling Heathcliff. Earnshaw's daughter Cathy soon falls madly in love with him. But their love ends in tragedy, and a web of revenge and betrayal is woven around the estate. Emily Brontë's classic dark love story, set in a romantic and untamed landscape, remains one of the most intense reads to this day.
'Be with me always-take any form-drive me mad! only do not leave me in this abyss, where I cannot find you! Oh, God! it is unutterable! I cannot live without my life! I cannot live without my soul!'
»She was a wild, wicked slip of a girl. She burned too bright for this world.« Wuthering HeightsSprayed edges and ribbon bookmark, hardcover, embossed cover»Be with me always - Take any form - Drive me mad.« Wuthering Heights»He's more myself than I am. Whatever our souls are made of, his and mine are the same.« Wuthering Heights
