The cave posed the ultimate challenge for Stefan Glowacz and Chris Sharma, two of the world's greatest extreme athletes from two generations, who could hardly be more different. Their mission was to be the very first to climb out of its subterranean depths with their bare hands, free of technical assistance. Like bats clinging to the roof of the cathedral-like chamber that could easily fit several passenger jets, the two outlier athletes made their slow ascent back to the glare of the sun. Into the Light follows the two adventurers as they emerge from this dark and legendary chasm, inconspicuous from above, out into the rocky desert.
