Balkanische Spielfreude () Der 1982 im mazedonischen Stip geborene, virtuose Klarinettist Hidan Mamudov hat für eine World-Music-Ausgabe der Universal Edition Volksmusik seiner Heimat und anderer Regionen des Balkan für Saxofon und Klavier (auch Akkordsymbole) arrangiert, welche mit einer packenden, originellen Play-alongVersion geübt werden kann. Alle Stücke sind nach Lust und Laune mit flexiblen Ensembles aufführbar (Partitur und Stimmen werden auf der CD mitgeliefert). Und dank Angaben zu Phrasierung und Verzierung ist der Weg frei für Improvisationsbegeisterte, die das Material spielfreudig weiterentwickeln möchten.

The Balkans - where Europe meets Asia... All the cultural diversity of the Balkans is reflected in its varied and colourful music.
