The second and extended edition of this publication once again offers a unique and up-to-date overview of the legal and financing aspects of property acquisition and development in Central, Eastern and South-Eastern Europe. The book covers 16 countries: Albania, Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, and Ukraine, and has this time been expanded to include the countries of the Baltic States (Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania).
The book is fully bilingual German/English.

Peter Oberlechner, Partner der internationalen österreichischen Sozietät WOLF THEISS, wird regelmäßig als einer der führenden Immobilienanwälte Österreichs angeführt. Er hat ua im Corporate International Department der Kanzlei Curtis, Mallet-Prevost, Colt & Mosle in New York gearbeitet, ist Mitglied der U.S. Organisation der "Counselors of Real Estate", des Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), und des Vorstands des European Forum Alpbach. Er hat Studienabschlüsse der Universitat Wien (Mag. iur, Dr. iur), und ein Masters Degree (LL.M.) in International Business Law der London School of Economics and Political Science.
Peter Oberlechner, partner of the international Austrian law firm WOLF THEISS, is consistently ranked as one of the leading real estate lawyers in Austria. He i.a. worked in the Corporate International Department of the New York firm Curtis, Mallet-Prevost, Colt & Mosle, is a member of the U.S. based Counselors of Real Estate (CRE), an association of elite real estate advisors, of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS), and of the board of the European Forum Alpbach. In addition to his Austrian law degrees, he holds an LL.M. degree in international business law from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
