Description
(Text)
As a result of climate changes, population increases, rapid urbanization and decreases in natural resources, there is a rising interest in reverse logistics activities. One of the most important research topics of reverse logistics is the reverse logistics network design (RLND) which has a strategic role in an effective supply chain improvement. RLND plays a role in making strategic decisions that lead to costly and critical decisions such as determination of flowing amount, location of facilities, and facility capacities. RLND refers to the problem of finding the best physical locations of the facilities and the best material flow allocations between the facilities. The book aims to conduct a comprehensive assessment on RLND and utilize a novel approach in order to tackle uncertainty of RLND model which minimizes cost, minimizes environmental risks and maximizes social benefit under high uncertainties.
