This book addresses the issue of how to teach English via movies. The book is composed of two parts: theory and practice. In the theory section, the author analyzed Joker using the Word Cloud, Auto Code, and Word Frequency functions of NVivo R1 to see what is happening in the text. A strategy for acquiring vocabulary, combined by the author and Ahn, was provided to speed up the process of students developing the words. In the practice section, the entire script of Joker. The author's edited version focused on words, translation, and idiomatic expressions directly linked to listening comprehension. Professor Park has taught Media English for two decades at Pukyong National University in Korea. He has published articles and books on media English-related issues and worked as chief editor of a STEM journal in Korea. He is also interested in NVivo and has published countless articles and books on CAQDAS.
