This work, designed to describe how can be synthesis of new azo-pyrazalone derivatives as a ligands. The ligands were allowed to react with some transition metal ions to preparation of complex compounds. Ligands and their complexes Eight new complex compounds of Co(II), Ni(II), Cu(II), Zn(II) with two heterocyclic derivatives of azopyrazolone-5 are isolated and investigated by and characterized by serial of methods of analysis such as Chemical analysis, X-Ray analysis on single crystals, XRD powder analysis, IR-Spectroscopy, UV-Vis spectroscopy,1H NMR spectra, ESR spectra. Structure and ways of coordination of organic ligands are Determined, Crystal structure of a ligand and a complex is determined. The hydrazo form of the ligand in the neutral form and coordinated ionized form is proved. The stability constants are calculated, the values of which showed linear dependence vs ionization energy and the absolute hardness of the central ion. By Experimental part the ways of application of the synthesis compounds. This book is especially helpful for students M.Sc., B.Sc. and researchers in the field of inorganic chemistry.
