In today's complex world, the knowledge of Accounting for all level business is a precondition to survive. Businesses owners can survive this stiff competition only if they know their status in terms of finance, operation and marketing which are the three major activities in business. To do this businesses have to have an employed accountant on salary bases or hire par time accountant. But, this is a difficult condition especially for small business owners which cannot hire accountants. Again the owner of large business organization also should not take information provided by accountants without crosschecking. If they have accounting knowledge they can easily understand business transactions. So this short hand book on principles of accounting will enable individuals to learn accounting process easily and handle it by themselves.

Alemu, KokobeKokobe Seyoum Alemu was born at Hararghe, East Africa in 1987. He is graduated from Addis Ababa University with Masters of Science in Accounting and finance. Currently he is a lecturer and researchers at Ambo University.
