(Text)
There is no single food can protect against cancer, but there are steps you can take to lower overall risk, and eating a healthy diet may greatly reduce lifetime risk of cancer. Food habits in middle east include many ingredients, which play a central role in the prevention of pathologies, including cancer. So,the purpose of this book is to study the genotoxic effects induced by benzoic acid as food add and the role of natural products like pomegranate molasses in prevention it of these effects.Experimental studies are one of the most pressing challenges facing scientists and public health. We used the peripheral blood lymphocytes as the best assay for the determination of cytogenetic effects biomarkers(CA,MI,MN and RI) parameters. This research comprises three sets of experimental. Investigation the cytogenetic effect of benzoic acid;investigation the cytogenetic effect of pomegranate molasses;the protective role of pomegranate molasses against genotoxicity induced by benzoic acid. This book, reveals promising avenues in order to refine understanding of the links between food and cancer, highlight the way toward the investigating of food additives safety and protect consumers worldwide
