Description
The text book entitled Analysis of Dispersion in Chalcogenide glass PCF gives the introduction and nature of Photonic Crystals. The work done shows that how dispersion is calculated in Chalcogenide glass PCF. In standard silica fiber which is commonly used for PCF, light does not propagates beyond wavelength range 2 micrometer but in proposed design of chalcogenide glass PCF the light propagates in wavelength region 2 to 11 micrometer and thus in this wavelength they have important for defense and bio-medical applications. Scalar effective index method (SEIM) and transparent boundary condition (TBC) are used for dispersion calculation. Mr. Ravindra Kumar Sharma is currently working as Asst. Prof. in the department of Electronics Engg., RITM, Jaipur. He has published more than 10 research paper in various international journals. Through this experience recently he is working as Chief Editor of Engineering Research Publication. Sunil Sharma is also associated with department of ECE
