The field of space physics is quite broad, interesting and challenging. The F-region is just part of it and for the introductory purposes, this work is quite useful and especially for final year undergraduate students. The F-region currents are generally weak and difficult to detect. However, their contributions to the earth's magnetic field variations are significant and cannot be ignored by field modelers. Therefore for accurate field models, we have to consider the effects from this source.

Adero, AwuorAwuor Ochieng Adero, M.Sc., earned both his undergraduate and graduate degrees from the University of Nairobi in 2008 and 2011 respectively. In 2012, he joined the Technical University of Kenya for his Ph.D. research on Observational Space Physics where he has also been teaching various undergraduate courses.
