Homework has always been a controversial issue since the beginning of education. Teachers have always considered it as one of the major educational tools; homework has been used in various forms. Doing homework has always been difficult for students. They have always suffered from doing homework especially in the initial years of their education. Even they sometimes ask their parents to do it for them. Gradually, they will face more problems. Homework has been given various names. Some call it the factor of activity, practice, internalization, and educational creativity; some others call it as disaster; a group consider it as the factor for instability of the family and the dispute between parents; some extremists call it an educational monster that ruins learners' talents, tendencies and motivations in the era of the third wave; they consider it as a psychological torture for students.
