Description

(Text)
Man will always wonder about how the arth has been formed and how life appeared on it. What steps have they gone the way of their development to the form in which we know them today? There are many hypotheses, but the only material evidence we got are the fossilized remains of ancient organisms. This work concerns the restauration of paleolandscape of the locality of Perunika village (Eastern Rhodopes, Bulgaria), based on the effects of environmental factors (such as temperature, pH, salinity, water depth, type of substrate) on the characteristics of molluscs paleobiocenosis.
