The attainment of a nuclear weapon by the Islamic Republic of Iran would lead to exceptional changes in International Politics and would constitute a permanent threat for great parts of the globe. Therefore, the United Nations Security Council tries to verify the peaceful nature of the Iranian nuclear program, since 2006. Because of a lack of Iranian cooperation, the United Nations Security Council wants to change the Iranian misbehavior by dint of sanctions. The impact of these sanctions on the Iranian nuclear program is tested in this book. Furthermore, the position of the E3/EU is particularly examined.
