Description

This book provides a concise overview of the complex challenges facing credit institutions amid the conflicting forces of digitalisation, demographic change and shifting customer expectations. In particular, it takes an in-depth look at the strategic implications of technological innovations such as artificial intelligence, blockchain and platform economics, as well as the impact of evolving regulatory frameworks. These developments have a far-reaching impact on business models, customer interaction and competitive structures. The book offers an in-depth analysis of current developments and reflects on the requirements for the strategic positioning of German and European banks in an increasingly competitive environment.
