Description
(Text)
Globalisation, climate change, environmental protection, migration, diversity and interculturality imply a range of different social challenges. What is common in this context is sustainability. Sustainability of education is and remains an important issue on a number of educational levels.
This monograph Requirements and Approaches for Contemporary Teacher Training contains 23 contributions. Although these present a variety of discussions, all contributions share a common base: they are all linked to national and international perspectives on current issues and trends in teacher training in the areas of pre-school and primary education. The contributions discuss different challenges, opportunities and pedagogical approaches for educators.
