Description
(Text)
Sinology is in flux. What was once a colonial science is today being reshaped as a global discourse. New approaches are being explored. Traditional patterns that have often led to the exclusion of valuable knowledge are being challenged. This volume sheds light on issues that have remained marginalized for far too long - as blind spots, as non-topics, as forgotten narratives. And it seeks to foster a provocative debate, putting forward the motion: It is high time that Sinology was rediscovered as a more inclusive field of study.
