Description
In this book, the author investigates how romantic ideas were introduced into Italy during the Restoration period by analyzing articles from the newspaper Il Conciliatore, which circulated in Milan between September 1818 and October 1819. He tries to revive the heated debate at the time between romantics and classicists, a discussion that is still relevant today for understanding the culture produced in the West. Professor with a PhD in History from the postgraduate program in social history at the Faculty of Philosophy, Letters and Human Sciences of the University of São Paulo (2017), specializing in intellectual history.
