The heart is an important part of the circulatory system. The heart is located in the chest cavity, between the left and right lungs. When the heart contracts, its size will be the size of a person's fist. Chest bones, ribs and cartilages are located near the front and upper surfaces of the heart. After the heart, esophagus and chest cavity are located. The lower part of the heart is close to the diaphragm muscle and in its upper part is the superior vena cava, aorta and pulmonary artery. There are grooves on the surface of the heart. Coronary grooves (Coronary Sulcus) which is the part of the separation and limit of the ventricle and the atrium. Anterior-posterior longitudinal sulci, which is the separation plane of the left ventricle and the right ventricle. The heart is a hollow organ that is divided into four parts or cavities. The upper two cavities are atria, which are divided into left and right atrium by the atrium wall. Also, the two lower cavities, which are called ventricles, are divided into left and right ventricles by the ventricular wall.
