The goal of this book is to assess and analyze the foreign Investments and their impact on the Slovak economy, particularly with regard to the economic Growth potential. The role of Foreign Investments was considered by using the latest Trends and also the positive and negative effects of Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) from 2000 to 2009 in Slovakia have been taken into account. Special attention was given to the sectoral structure of Foreign Direct Investment in Slovakia. In addition, not only the contribution, but also the dangers of foreign Investment were researched, based on the Data from the period from 2000 to 2009. In this period comparisons were made and conclusions were drawn, whether foreign investments, and above all, Foreign Direct Investments impact the economic development of the Slovak Republic positively or negatively...
