Learning Barriers are analyzed and examples given of Learning Curves - the ideal learning curve, accelerated and linear learning, stepped learning and discouraging ditches in learning. Learning Barriers are seen as coming from three domains - Substantive, Functional and Experiential. Learning Barriers are classified as Anticipated, Perceived, Real, Illusory, Confirmed and Discovered. The differences between Perception and Reality of Learning Barriers are reconciled. These actions aim to encourage you by easier learning and enable teachers to sequence the learning to make it as easy as possible. These actions help to make learning an easier process and show that learning need not always be difficult.
