Twelve historians from Great Britain, Germany and the United States investigates over a huge time span - from the 16th century to the present- the elite in the church, military, economy, diplomacy and in the educational sector.
Description
The "Prince Albert Society" aims to further Anglo-German relations in academic, cultural and political spheres. The annual conferences are held under this premise and centre around specific issues, although they concentrate mainly on historical themes. Contributions made at these conferences are published in the Prince Albert Studies and clarify many interesting aspects of Anglo-German relations.
Die Prinz-Albert-Gesellschaft hat sich zur Aufgabe gemacht, die britisch-deutschen Beziehungen in Wissenschaft, Kultur und Politik zu pflegen. Alljährlich finden unter dieser Prämisse Tagungen statt, deren Beiträge in den Prinz-Albert-Studien veröffentlicht werden und die viele interessante Aspekte der britisch-deutschen Beziehungen verdeutlichen.
