This volume presents the proceedings of the sixth International Conference on Advanced Information Systems Engineering, held in Utrecht, The Netherlands, in June 1994. The 30 contributions by researchers from industry and academia and by ambitioned professionals were selected from a total of 130 submissions after a highly competetive refereering process.
