Full Description
This book provides basic and practical knowledge on material photophysics for planning, carrying out and understanding experiments in spectroscopy. The book contains a collection of simple practical rules for data analysis and interpretation, rarely present in a unique compendium, and a list of experimental techniques, including the most recent ones. This book aims at providing a quick guide for the spectroscopist who needs to grasp the concept of the experiments. Each topic is completed by examples taken from fore front research on nano-materials, photovoltaics and photonics. Chapters include discussion, examples, topical boxes, tables and figures. A bibliography for further reading and major references will be included. Appendixes include theoretical derivation and numerical code.
