Zur Stabilisierung der Wirtschafts- und Währungsunion wird die Einführung einer europäischen Arbeitslosenversicherung vorgeschlagen. Die Arbeit befasst sich mit der Frage ihrer Einführung und zeigt dabei auf, dass zwar keine Kompetenz der Europäischen Union im Rahmen der Wirtschafts- und Währungsunion besitzt, wohl aber im Rahmen der ihr zugewiesenen sozialpolitischen Zuständigkeit gem. Art. 153 AEUV. Sie zeigt daran anknüpfend Möglichkeiten einer Einführung über differenzierte Integration auf. »A European Unemployment Insurance Scheme? A Contribution to the Socio-Political Competence Structure of the European Union«: To stabilize the economic and monetary union, the introduction of a European Unemployment Insurance Scheme is proposed. The thesis deals with the question of its introduction and shows that, although the European Union has no competence in the context of economic and monetary union, it does have competence in the context of its assigned social policy responsibilities under Article 153 TFEU. It then goes on to outline possibilities for its introduction via differentiated integration. Marje Mülder studied law at the European University Viadrina in Frankfurt (Oder). After completing her legal clerkship at the Higher Regional Court of Oldenburg, with placements at the University of Administrative Sciences in Speyer and the German Embassy in Santiago de Chile, she worked at the Jobcenter Wittmund and as a research assistant at the Chair of Public Law, Social Law, and Health Law at the University of Regensburg. Since April 2023, she has been head of social administration for the Bezirk Oberpfalz.
