It is hoped that the financial sector will contribute significantly to the achievement of sustainability goals. The financial sector converts money in place, term, size and risk. It determines which projects are financed, influencing both the nature and return of funded projects. In principle, this decision power could be used to accelerate the transition to a sustainable economy. However, the crucial question is whether the financial sector can meet these high expectations?
