Die Autorin stellt zunächst das System der gesetzlichen Krankenversicherung sowie das ärztliche Berufsrecht dar. Es folgt eine Auslegung der einzelnen Tatbestandsmerkmale der Strafvorschriften 299a, b StGB. Ausgehend von diesen rechtlichen Grundlagen untersucht die Autorin Strafbarkeitsrisiken unterschiedlichster Kooperationsformen im Gesundheitswesen. She passed the 1st state examination in Tübingen in 2013. Subsequently, she completed her legal clerkship at the Regional Court of Stuttgart, which she completed with the 2nd State Examination in 2015. Then she worked as a research assistant at the Chair for German and European Criminal and Criminal Procedure Law, Commercial Criminal Law and Computer Criminal Law under Prof. Dr. Jörg Eisele in Tübingen. In the winter semester 2019/2020 she was awarded a doctorate in law by the Faculty of Law of the Eberhard-Karls-University of Tübingen.
