The authors consider the complex challenges facing heritage protection today, particularly in times of armed conflict and social crisis, while drawing attention to the vital role of public institutions, civic organisations, and local communities in safeguarding tradition. At the same time, the volume underscores the importance of cooperation, new technologies, and grassroots activities in shaping effective and forward-looking approaches to cultural heritage protection. Wojciech Wojtyla is Professor at the Kazimierz Pulaski University of Radom, Head of the Department of Theory, History, and Philosophy of Law. He specializes in philosophy of law, philosophical personalism, ethics, and philosophy of culture. Pawel Swital is Assistant Professor (adjunct) in the Department of Administrative Law and Administrative Science at the Kazimierz Pulaski University of Radom. He specializes in administrative law, with a particular focus on local government law, public participation institutions, digitalization of public entities, and the legal status of persons with disabilities. Joanna Smarz is Professor at the Kazimierz Pulaski University of Radom, Dean of the Faculty of Law and Administration, legal advisor. She specializes in administrative law, particularly in the areas of professional self-governments of public trust professions, construction law (including monument protection and construction licenses). Specialist in administrative and administrative court proceedings, as well as legislation. Adam Duszyk is Assistant Professor (adjunct) in the Department of Theory, History, and Philosophy of Law at the Kazimierz Pulaski University of Radom. He specializes in the history of law, political and legal doctrines, as well as economic and social history, with a particular focus on anarchism and cooperation in its broader sense.
