Gauß-Filter sind zurzeit die einzigen genormten Filter in der Messtechnik. Die vorliegende Publikation erläutert die mathematischen und messtechnischen Grundlagen des Gauß-Filters und gibt eine konkrete Anleitung zu seiner Implementierung in Mess-Software, inkl. der zugehörigen Algorithmen und deren Umsetzung in die Programmiersprache C. Außerdem beschäftigt sie sich mit eventuell auftretenden Messungenauigkeiten und zeigt Verfahren zu ihrer Reduzierung auf.

The Gaussian filter is set to remain of enduring importance in metrology. This publication deals with the digital implementation of the Gaussian filter and the estimation of the occurring errors. Guidance is given on how to keep these errors as small as possible. In addition algorithms for the implementation of the Gaussian filter are given.
