Description
This volume is the result of three years of research on religious diversity and the global issues at stake. The research was conducted in collaboration between the Institut für Evangelische Theologie at Paderborn University and the Faculty of Protestant Theology and Religious Studies in Brussels. It was developed at three levels: church and education, sacred texts and society. Each segment of this study features experts who combine years of academic experience with a passion for scholarship. Each from their own perspective and in the face of ever-growing diversity, they make a plea to always remain in conversation, starting from deepened knowledge of one's own tradition. As precise language promotes precise description, precise description promotes empathic perception and empathic perception promotes mutual respect.
