Der demographische Wandel stellt die Frage nach der Versorgung alter Menschen, die nicht von ihren Angehörigen umsorgt werden können. Wie beeinflussen sich die wirtschaftlichen, politischen und institutionellen Akteure gegenseitig? Wie lassen sich ihre teils unterschiedlichen Perspektiven zum Wohl älterer Menschen integrieren? Die Studie geht den geschichtlichen Entwicklungen der Pflege von 1870-2012 nach und konkretisiert mithilfe von Interviews am Beispiel des Frankfurter Diakonissenhauses. Konzepte, die zu sektorenübergreifender Zusammenarbeit anregen, soziale und technische Innovationen, ein Blick in andere Länder und Aspekte diakonischer Bildung beschreiben weitere Entwicklungen, die zu einer »alters- und pflegefreundlichen Kultur« beitragen können.[An age based home. [An age based home. Changes in geriatric care as a challenge observed by the Deaconesses Home in Frankfurt, Germany]
The demographic change brings with it the question as to how to provide for older people, who are not able to be looked after by their families. How do the economical, political and institutional antagonists influence each other? How do their very different perspectives of the needs work together and how can they be integrated for the well being of the elderly?
The study shows the historical development of care as from 1870-2012 and includes precise information and interviews of the concepts of the Deaconesses Home in Frankfurt. Concepts, which encourage an interdepartmental cooperation, social and technical innovations and a view of other countries and their aspects of social welfare. Schließmann, RosemarieRosemarie Schließmann, Dr. phil., Jahrgang 1970, studierte Diakoniewissenschaften und wurde 2015 an der Fakultät für Verhaltens- und Empirische Kulturwissenschaften der Ruprecht-Karls-Universität Heidelberg mit der vorliegenden Arbeit promoviert. Derzeit arbeitet sie als Gemeindepädagogin im Ev. Dekanat Biedenkopf-Gladenbach. Zuvor war sie als Diakonin in Schwäbisch Hall und als Krankenschwester in Stuttgart tätig.
