Security providing appears to be one of the main actual problems of nowadays, considering both as one of any separate state and the world community on the whole. In this connection it become far more significant to pay attention to the analysis of the basic risks and threats to the security of the contemporary society, all the types of them and their sources, and also possible social sequences for the society, which is known to have been functioning in the risky regime for a long period of time. Distinguished circles of tasks represent the subject field of the sociology of security (or safety in some respect) as unique branch (trend, so to say) of scientific knowledge, which has been acquiring the status of life important one for providing stable and safe life activities of the civilization of the third century. Our monograph is written for a very wide circle of readers, first of all, of course, students of higher institutions, colleges, etc., also magistrates and aspirants; and by all means our respected colleagues - researchers and teachers, everybody, who is seriously interested in the problems of security of our contemporary society.
