Full Description
Domenico Lo Sardo untersucht die text- und literargeschichtliche Entwicklung von Exodus 25-31 und Levitikus 8-9 und erweitert damit seine bisherige Forschung zum zweiten Stiftshüttenbericht (Exodus 35-40). Er argumentiert dafür, dass Exodus 25-31 später verfasst wurde, um den Bau des Tempels zu legitimieren, und parallel zu Levitikus 8 entstanden ist. Seine text- und literaturkritische Analyse der untersuchten Texte stellt die Idee einer frühen, voll entwickelten Priesterschrift (Pg) in Frage. Vielmehr erweist sich die Priesterschrift (P) als eine Tradition mit einer mehrstufigen Entstehungsgeschichte. Zudem kommt er zu dem Schluss, dass P mit Levitikus 8 endet und nicht über diesen Punkt hinausgeht. Durch die Hervorhebung von Themen wie göttliche Präsenz, Gottesdienst und heiliger Raum wird das Projekt des Tempelkults schließlich innerhalb des breiteren theologischen Rahmens von Schöpfung und Bundeserfüllung verortet.
