Die Beiträge dieses Bandes untersuchen das Wissen und die Vorstellungen über Natur und Mensch in den aramäischen Texten von Qumran. Die Autoren der Texte waren mit der wissenschaftlichen Literatur Mesopotamiens und ihren Methoden bestens vertraut. Zwei Fragen leiten daher die Einzelstudien: Welches Wissen und welche Methoden übernahmen die Rezipienten?
