Description

The Baltic states started the process of digitalizing the public sector very early on, in the 1990s, and are miles ahead of many other regions in this regard. Libraries are also considered drivers of digitalization, as they recognized and capitalized on their potential early on. Rafael Ball draws out the context of the visible, documented success of digitalization in libraries and the public sector.

Rafael Ball, Director ETH Library, Zurich, Switzerland.
