Description
The book deals with the phenomenon of animism as a philosophical proposal to understand historical formations of individuality, the emergence of new forms of subjectivity and the contemporary planetary crisis. Starting from the Athenian democratic animism (Plato) and the myth of Polyphemus (Ovid, Góngora), it explores the emergence of the modern subject up to its early capitalist transformation (Frankenstein).
